I am trying to select a custom post object in ACF on a non-main page language. Specifically, on a custom post type 'Short LP' inside an ACF Form Type field, which is a post_object for 'cta_flow' post type, to select a post to be connected/shown on the current page. Symptoms:
I expected to see a workable select to choose a cta_flow post and then show its data on the front. Instead, I got a message under the select: 'Warning: This field allows to select post type or taxonomy which you set in WPML translation options to "Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language". Whatever you set in this field for a secondary language post (this post) will be ignored and values from original post will be used (if you set to copy or duplicate value for this field).' The select is disabled.

Why is the select field disabled for the 'Short LP' page in DE?
How can I enable the selection of a cta_flow post for a unique language page without an EN parent?
