This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where an image updated in the original language is not synchronizing correctly across different language versions of the page. The image appears correctly on the English page but not on other language pages.
Solution:
1. We recommend testing with the WordPress default theme and only WPML plugins active, with all other plugins disabled, to confirm that the issue is not being caused by any other code or plugin.
2. Create a new test page and try translating an image using Media Translation.
3. Clear the Elementor cache to ensure no cached versions are interfering with the display.
4. After making changes to the original content, update the translation manually as the image will not sync automatically. Use the WPML Translation Editor and ensure the translation is completed to 100%.
5. If the issue persists, edit the widget, save the page again, and then open the translation editor.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be because the solution is outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to change an image on the original language and synchronize the image and the page where the image was changed. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expected to see this image: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The image is not synchronized correctly. On the English page, the image appears as expected: hidden link. However, on any other language page, the image appears incorrectly: hidden link.

Questions:
Why is the image not synchronizing correctly across different language pages?
How can I ensure the image appears correctly on all language versions of the page?

Hello,

This image will not sync automatically. Anytime you make a change to the original content you will need to update the translation.

Did you translate the page again with the WPML Translation Editor after changing the image on the original English page?

Make sure the translation is completed to 100%.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

This looks unexpected. How does the original content look?

This site has 2FA enabled and I can not log in.

Could you please send me a screenshot of the original content that is related to the segment with the wpml-linebreak markers?

I am referring to the example from your screenshot.

Please let me know if the text of the original segment uses normal text or HTML code inside Elementor.

Thank you for the details.

Could you please try to edit this widget, save the page again, and then open the translation editor?

If this will not solve the issue I will try to recreate the problem on a test site.
