This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing issues with WPML where the links in the header menu do not update correctly in the translated versions, even though they are set as "internal" in Elementor. All pages are translated and published, and the menu is synced, but WPML still displays the original language links in the frontend.
Solution:
Here is a step-by-step guide to resolve this issue:
1. Edit the page in the original language.
2. Use the language switcher to switch to the target translation language.
3. Delete the translated page.
4. Permanently delete the page from the Trash bin.
5. Return to the original language page and duplicate it into the target translation language.
6. Set the newly created translated page to be translated independently.
7. Use Elementor to edit the translated page and ensure all widgets and links are correctly set.
Please apply these steps to any other pages where you are encountering similar translation issues.

This solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. Also the links in the header menu don’t update correctly in the translated versions, even if they are set as "internal" in Elementor and everything is configured properly.

All the pages are translated and published, and the menu is synced, but WPML still doesn’t show the correct translated URLs in the frontend. It just keeps the original language links.

I prepared a quick video to show the problem you can replicate in test3:

hidden link

I think it's the same problem for blog image links. Do not update links.

Thanks for your reply. I've rechecked this using the credentials that you've provided on another ticket, and I've logged in to this woman105 profile and switched languages. The chat and other links point to the correct translated page as shown in the attached screenshot.

Thanks for your reply. This is what I've done to fix the Match page hidden link in Portuguese language.

1. Edit the Match page in English hidden link

2. Switch to Portuguese language using the language switcher.

3. Delete the Portuguese language page

4. Go to Trash bin and permanently delete the Portuguese language page

5. Go back to the Match page in English hidden link and duplicate the page into Portuguese language

6. Go to the Portuguese Language page and set the page as translate independently.

7. Edit the Portuguese Language page using the Elementor page builder and correct the widget as shown in the attached screenshot.

Please try this on your other pages that you're having issues translating.

Hello Kor,

Thanks for your reply.
I see it's a bit complicated. I'll change the links and keep it all in English.

Thanks in any case.
Regards
