Background of the issue:
I am trying to process payments on my website hidden link using PayPal Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments. The payments work fine in the store's default language and currency.

Symptoms:
When I switch the store language to Deutsch and attempt to checkout using PayPal Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments, I encounter an error message: 'the payment. Please reach out to the PayPal support for more information.' The error details can be found here: hidden link. I have also provided screenshots of the error and log: hidden link and hidden link.

Questions:
Could you help checking why this happens?
Is it something conflicting with WPML?

Is this the plugin you are using?

I'm asking because in the list of plugins on your site, I don't see a plugin called 'PayPal Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments'.
Is this an option with the 'PayPal Payments for WooCommerce' plugin?
Can you please elaborate on what the 'PayPal Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments' is?

Dear Itamar,

Yes it is https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-paypal-payments/ plugin that I'm using. 

Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments is an option of the Woocommerce PayPal Payment plugin. For now I have disabled the function from the Live site as you can see the screenshot hidden link and im using STRIPE for receiving payment via Credit card permanently.

I have enabled the Paypal advance credit and debit card payment on staging site. You can see it under the checkout page: hidden link. It looks normal but when enter credit card info and click place order, it will show the above mentioned error.

I have review this and it looks like you are receiving this message:

When it comes to unprocessable entity errors it seems like they stem from a decision coming from PayPal and it might be best if we also reach out to them as well.

Have you been able to reach out to their support? IF possible, please do and let me know their response.

Also, is this error only happening on the translation side or both languages?

What about when WPML is deactivated? Does it process OK?

Hi,

The same issue happens on my other websites also. When switching the language to sub-language the payment by Paypal credit card failed. But when in default language, the payment success.

I contacted with woocommerce paypal payment plugin support. He said: I initially suspected that WPML or a language-specific configuration might interfere with the request logic.

The credit card payment only come through successfully when switch the language to English.

There is a possibility, however, it is best to contact Paypal directly as they would be able to give us a better understanding on what is causing this issue.

In the meantime while you are contacting them and we are waiting their response, I have created a sandbox for us.

Please access it and upload your plugin, then do a quick set up so we can reproduce the error.

Hi have completed the simple set up. please translate the pages and switch the language to German language and try checkout via credit card .

Does the issue happen after you add CC details and attempt checkout?

At the moment I am able to be redirected to PayPal.

Also, were you able to raech out to PayPal support? They should be able to give us some insight as once it leaves the website the error is on their server side.

The payment via Credit card able to go through on your created sanbox site. But it does't work on all of my websits.

Payment via Paypal checkout is fine, The issue happens on Paypal credit card. And the issue happens after adding CC details and click Pay button.

I was tried to reach out to paypal support. But they do not reply my ticket.

If the issue is not reproduced in the sandbox, it looks like it might be environment related.

What are your results when testing with a minimal environment? Deactivate third party plugins and leave only necessary plugins along with WPML activated.

Let me know your results, please.
