Product attribute name not translatable

jeroenB-22	I am trying to: I am trying to translate the product attribute name to french. Als for some reason all the product attributes have EN as default language what not the selected default language is in WPML. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link I expected to see: On other product attributes this is no issue. Instead, I got: When I translate the name, the french value disappears and doesn't save the value. When trying to change the language of the product attribute it keeps loading forever.

I noticed from the video you sent and from the debug info provided that you are using WPML Multilingual CMS v4.6.7, I would suggest you update to the latest version v4.6.9 (I noticed there are quite a few plugins that require updating). Please proceed with the updates and check if the issue persists. * Note: Please make sure you have a full backup of your website before making any update/changes on your website. jeroenB-22	Hi, After all the updates, the problem still occurs. I made a new product attribute to test. I could manually change the product attribute language to the WPML standard language (dutch) and then translate the term name. For the attribute I want to translate it keeps on loading with no visible progress. After reloading the page also no changes.

Marsel Nikolli	Thank you for the update. Would it be possible to check if the issue happens in a minimal setup, that meaning: - set a default theme - keep active only WPML Plugins and WCML plugins - disable all other plugins After, check if the issue is still happening. This would help checking if there is any incompatibility issue related to any other plugin. Note: Please make sure you have a full backup (files & database) before trying anything on your website. jeroenB-22	Starting from a clean website was not the solution. The problem was that the mentioned attribute had as slug: gewicht-per-m²-h5cm. Changing it to gewicht-per-m2-h5cm solved it.

Marsel Nikolli	Hi, Happy to see that your issue is resolved. Slugs similar to "gewicht-per-m²-h5cm" that contain characters like "²" can't be used as slugs. Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. Kind regards, Marsel
