This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing a very high autoload from

icl_sitepress_settings

, you're not alone as this is a known issue.
Solution:
We are currently working on a fix to reduce the size in future versions of WPML. Unfortunately, there is no immediate workaround available, and it is suggested to remove or clear autoload options. While we cannot provide an exact release date, the fix is scheduled for the next major release of WPML.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hello,

this is currently known issue and our team is working on fixing this and reducing size in future versions, for now there is no workaround or is suggested to remove / clear autoload options.

While I cannot give an exact ETA for when the fix will be released, I can see in our internal work ticket that this is scheduled for the next major release of WPML.

Regards,
Drazen
