Hello,

I'm currently translating all my website hidden link from French to English.
For the time being, I have translated about half of my content. It will take a few more weeks to complete my translation work. For the moment the English pages are hidden.

As the content starts to be significant I'd like to unveil as soon as possible my English version without waiting for the whole website to be translated.

However, as I have many internal links it means that if Google robots follow them they will reach many non-translated articles in French.

Do you think it can be an issue from an SEO perspective? If yes, would you advise me to wait to have translated all my website before unhiding my English pages?

What's your advice?

Thanks.

Hello,

Internal links on translated content that are pointing to content that is not yet translated, will always point to the original content until a translation for the linked content has been published.

I am honestly not sure if this might affect your Google ratings, but there should not at any case a 404 occur only because you have internal links for contents that are not yet translated into all languages.

Best regards
Andreas
