This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing issues where updating the French homepage causes the English version to reset to French.
Solution:
We found that your English homepage was marked as a duplicate of the French page, which caused it to link directly to the original French content. We have removed this duplicate marking, allowing your English homepage to be translated independently. Please verify if the issue is resolved by checking your English homepage.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also advise checking the related known issues and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, please visit our support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the French home page (Page Accueil) on my site vinyaqui.com, but it is affecting the English translation.

Symptoms:
When I change the French home page, the English version resets to French.

Questions:
How can I avoid the English version resetting to French when I update the French home page?
How can I know if there are other pages that behave this way?

Hello, this is Andrey. I'll be assisting you further.

First, could you please confirm that you have completed the full backup? I also need you to include the steps to replicate the problem.

Additionally, I noticed that you are using Elementor for your pages, but the WPML String Translation plugin is not activated. This plugin is essential for translating pages created with Elementor. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the WPML String Translation plugin.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I have full backup.

I reinstalled it, and have the same issue.

Also, when downloading Home translation XLIFF from WPML UI, XLIFF is already well translated

Thank you for your feedback.

I discovered that your English homepage was still marked as a duplicate, which caused it to be linked to the original. I have attached the screenshot for your review.

I have removed this connection, and now your English homepage can be translated independently.

Can you please check this?
