This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate the yacht search bar and results on your site, but despite following previous instructions, the translations are not appearing.
Solution:
The issue is due to incorrect text domain translations. For example, the "Search Destinations" placeholder in the search form was using the "YACHTER" text domain incorrectly. Here’s how you can fix it:
1) Enable the auto-register option in WPML > String Translation. Follow the steps here: Enable Auto-Register Strings.
2) Visit your site to allow WPML to search for and register all available getText() calls. For example, open this link.
3) Refresh the String Translation page to translate the "YACHTER" text domain directly. Visit: String Translation Page.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate our yacht search bar and results on the site hidden link. I had a ticket for this issue before, but it was closed. The author of the search plugin followed the instructions provided by WPML support, specifically from Kor supporter, but the issue persists.

Symptoms:
The yacht search bar and search results are not translating.

Questions:
Why are the yacht search bar and results not translating despite following the provided instructions?
Is there a way to reopen the previous support ticket or continue the discussion on the same issue?

Hi,

thanks for the access. The strings are using standard getText() calls. It issue lies in the wrong strings being translated.

For instance, take a look at the "Search Destinations" placeholder in the search form. While only the text domain was registered and translated, the authors used the text domain "YACHTER" when it should have been correctly translated. You can check it here: hidden link">Translation Page.

It now displays as translated: hidden link">Translation Preview.

You can archive this on your live site, doing the following steps:

1) Enable the auto-register option in WPML > String Translation. You can follow the steps here: Enable Auto-Register Strings.
Open this link. WPML will now s

2) Open hidden link">this link. WPML will now search for and register all available getText() calls.

3) Refresh the String Translation page, where you’ll now be able to translate the "YACHTER" text domain directly: hidden link">String Translation Page.

Best Regards,
Marcel
