This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is facing an issue where the language switcher does not consistently appear in the header of Elementor archive templates on their bilingual website. Sometimes only one flag or no flags are displayed, even though the templates are translated and accessible via their URLs.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Set the 'Library Category' as translatable by navigating to WPML --> Settings --> Taxonomy translation.
2. Translate the category via WPML --> Taxonomy translation.
3. If you need to translate the archive template, go to WPML --> Translation Management and send the template for translation. Afterwards, you can translate it from WPML --> Translations.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
