Some advises: In case you use Templates, did you maybe edit one of the translated templates directly inside the Site Editor? If so, then this could be causing issues: |

Why was WPML not updated? The current version is 4.7.3. You can download the latest versions here: Click "Download WPML manually" at the bottom of the page and install the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation. Now, edit the original content, save the page, and complete the translation again. If this will not solve the issue: Please set up a test site and I will be glad to take a closer look into this. 1 - Yes, this is expected. The translated segments and their translation memory will be cleared if the original content is edited. 2 - Yes, always update both plugins. First WPML Multilingual CMS, then WPML String Translation. 3 - If you run into further issues, we can offer to take a look into your site. |
