Hi. I need to translate a specific term / the brandname of my company in all translations ACCEPT the main language (Dutch).
Dutch = Huishurenibiza
English = OneVillasIbiza
German = OneVillasIbiza
French = OneVillasIbiza
Itailan = OneVillasIbiza
If I use Better Search Replace to replace 'Huishurenibiza' by 'OneVillasIbiza' I think it will also replace all dutch brand names?
I have added the rule now in Glossary for new content. But making a small change on existing pages and then update the translations seems to work only sometimes.
What is the best way to do this?
And if I can change it with Better Search Replace will the changes be case sensitive?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to replace a word in bulk for a single translation using the plugin Better Search Replace, because WPML only handles the language connection between the original posts and their translations, while all the content is stored within the database as regular WordPress content in the "wp_posts" table.
* Please note that the Glossary entries are case-sensitive, and the term must match exactly what is defined in the glossary to apply the translation.
From the screenshot you provided, I can see that the word "huishurenibiza" in the content is capitalized in some places and lowercase in others, you’ll need to edit and update the Glossary entry accordingly and check if it helps.
* If you cannot add the term for the second time without capitalization, because it will say "term already exists", this happens only when you try to include an identical Glossary term from the Advanced Translation Editor.
However, there is another way to add Glossary Terms and in that way, you'll not face such an issue. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below:
- go to "WPML -> Translation Management -> Tools" Tab
- Scroll down to the "Glossary" option
- Click on that option and add the new Glossary Term. You can add similar Glossary terms from there.
This solution only works for new translations right? Or can I somehow activate the Glossary results to restart translating existing translated terms?
If that is not possible, since 4 translation pages will have to be altered, can I edit a small change in the original language (like adding a word/space somewhere) that will restart the automatic translation process for the 4 translations of that page? Then Glossary terms should be altered too correct?
I have tested this last solution, but it only seems to work sometimes. Is there a minimum requirement to the editing to relaunch the automated translation?
1) Yes, the Glossary feature only works for new translations. This is because the Glossary is used to suggest translations for terms that have not been translated before. If a term has already been translated, then the translation memory will be used instead.
2) You can edit a small change in the original language to restart the automatic translation process for existing translated terms. However, this will only work if the term has not been translated using the translation memory. If the term has been translated using the translation memory, then you will need to manually retranslate the term.
3) There is no minimum requirement for the editing to relaunch the automated translation. However, the more you change the original text, the more likely it is that the automated translation will be different from the existing translation.
* Please note from my previous reply that the Glossary entries are case-sensitive, and the term must match exactly what is defined in the glossary to apply the translation. Might be this a reason why sometimes it is working and sometimes no, since from the screenshot you sent the word “huishurenibiza” was used as capitalized in some part of your content.
