Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my website to English. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Links are not translated and some fields, like those under the numbers in the hero banner, are not translated. However, in the editor, they appear translated.

Questions:
Why are the links not translated ?
Why are some fields not translated even though they appear translated in the editor?

i forgot to mention the other bug that we can see on the screenshot it's the translation of the symbol '' & '' , in the translation it appears as '' & ''.

and for your information, we're using greenshift blocks.

I'm also seeing other translation issues on the rest of the site but we'll start with these ones.

thanks !

Thanks for contacting us. Greenshift page builder is compatible with WPML https://wpml.org/plugin/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/ .

I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply. I've added some custom XML configuration here hidden link and I'm able to see the translated hero banner now. Could you confirm?

As for the links, could you check the attached screenshot and try translating the links using my method?

<wpml-config>
  <gutenberg-blocks>
    <gutenberg-block type="kadence/countup" translate="1">
        <key name="title" />
       <xpath>//div</xpath>
    </gutenberg-block>
  </gutenberg-blocks>
</wpml-config>

As for the symbol issue, I've split the ticket here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/symbols-not-translating-correctly/ so that we can follow up.

ok your code worked and i see the words translated now, but for the links, i've NEVER had to translate links like that, and I've translated more than 30 websites.

Why do I need to do this now ?

As for my other question related to the symbol, look at the hero banner (screenshot attached). You can see it's written ''amp;'' when translating the symbol ''&''.

Thanks for your reply.

Links will translate automatically as long as the translated version of the page exists. However, based on the screenshot I shared earlier, you're using link anchors that point to specific sections of the page. WPML doesn’t translate these automatically, so those will need to be adjusted manually.

Regarding the symbol issue, I’ve created a separate ticket here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/symbol-not-translating-correctly/ so we can track it separately.

It's still not working even when adding the translated urls manually. They appear translated in the editor, but then on the front end it's still the french url. Look at the hero banner for example the contact button and also all the sections below you will see there should be /en/ in the URL.
