Background of the issue:
I am trying to auto translate everything properly on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The site is broken in Arabic, and category links don't redirect to Arabic.

Questions:
Why is my site broken in Arabic after translation?
Why don't category links redirect to Arabic?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will try to answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

I wonder if the issue that you are experiencing is regarding the layout of the website on the translated version because I saw when I hover over the categories the title slides up and that is not happening in the Arabic version.

As you use the Woodmart theme, we have two known issues that need to be checked, you would better perform the steps mentioned on those errata and see if it fixes the layout:

https://wpml.org/errata/woodmart-custom-layout-conditions-not-working-for-translated-categories/

https://wpml.org/errata/woodmart-fatal-error-when-translating-product-layouts/

The next point that you've mentioned is related to links to those categories.

Would you please go to WordPress Dashboard > Woocommerce > Woocommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency > Category (tab)

Check if the categories in question are translated there correctly.

Finally, Would you please kindly follow the steps below to provide the debug information?

- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Support > Debug Information (Link)".
- Copy the Debug Information from there.
- Get back to this chat screen and scroll down.
- Find the "Additional Data" section below. (Check the screenshot below)
- Click on the "Debug Info" item to expand it.
- Paste the debug information into the text area.
- Click the "Send Debug Info" button.

Please note that I performed the above steps and still no luck, only thing i missed was

Go to WPML > Settings > Custom fields and set wd_layout_conditions to Copy

The reason being I couldn't find wd_layout_conditions

I'd be really glad if support assisted directly by taking access.

Hi,

I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama
