This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed assistance with translating the names of custom post types within Yoast SEO breadcrumbs on single post pages. The custom post types were registered using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and the breadcrumbs were generated using Yoast SEO.

Solution:
We resolved the issue in the latest version of ACFML. We recommend updating to the latest version to fix the translation of custom post types in Yoast SEO breadcrumbs. You can find the changelog and update here: ACFML Changelog.

Dear WPML Support Team,

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I've encountered on my website regarding the translation of custom post types within Yoast SEO breadcrumbs. I have utilized Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for registering my custom post types, and I'm currently using Yoast SEO for generating breadcrumbs.

My challenge lies in translating the names of these custom post types for the breadcrumb trails, specifically when displayed on single post pages. While I have managed to translate other elements within my site using WPML, the post type names within the breadcrumbs remain untranslated.

I have followed the standard procedures for string translation within WPML but to no avail when it comes to the breadcrumbs on single post pages. This issue persists particularly for the post type name that appears in the breadcrumb trail.

Could you please provide me with guidance on how to achieve these translations? Here is the specific scenario I am dealing with:

The custom post types are registered using ACF.
The breadcrumbs are generated using Yoast SEO.
I need to translate the name of the custom post type that appears in the breadcrumbs on single post pages.
I am looking for a solution that allows me to effectively translate these names while maintaining compatibility with both ACF and Yoast SEO.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I am looking forward to your prompt response.

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) - Labels for custom post types and custom taxonomies not translatable yet.

WPML is working on a solution to support these new features in the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.

I have added your report to our escalate ticket, and will update you once the version with fix/feature is out.

Regards,
Drazen
