[Resolved] French translation keeps loading even after resigning and retrying
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing persistent loading issues when attempting to translate a page to French, despite resigning and assigning credits.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to address the translation loading issue:
1) Ensure a full site backup. 2) Navigate to WPML >> Translation Management >> Translation Jobs and delete the French translation job for the problematic post. 3) Edit the post in the original language, make a minor change, and update it to refresh the translation settings. 4) Retranslate the post to French using WPML's Translation Dashboard.
To improve site performance and possibly resolve the issue, increase the WP Memory Limit to 256MB and MaxInputVars to 10000.
1) Ensure a full site backup. 2) Delete the existing key for your site from your WPML account page. 3) Unregister and re-register WPML with a new key following the steps provided in the Plugins >> Add New >> Commercial tab. 4) Edit and update the post to refresh settings and attempt translation again.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should issues persist, please open a new support ticket.

1) Go to WPML >> Translation Management >> Translation Jobs
2) Find and delete the French translation job for this post: hidden link
3) Open the post for editing in the original language: hidden link
4) Make a minor change in the contents and update the post to refresh the translation settings
5) Visit WPML >> Translation Management
6) Retranslate the post to French: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/#using-wpmls-translation-dashboard
Additionally, please upgrade the following configurations to help improve the performance of your site:
1) Increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256*(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details
2) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details, or contact your system admin/hosting provider for this purpose.
I’ve followed the steps you provided, but unfortunately, the page is still not translating. I also attempted to use automatic translation, but the issue persists. Additionally, I’ve assigned 40,000 credits to the site, but that doesn’t seem to have resolved the problem either.
Please find the attached screenshot for your reference.
We are also looking to implement a URL structure like site.com/fr/, site.com/jp/, etc. However, when we activate this option, the translated pages do not appear. As a temporary measure, we have implemented the query string pattern instead. Kindly note that the WordPress site is using a multi-domain setup.
Could you please assist us with this issue as well?
Thanks and regards,
