This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to duplicate products for different German-speaking regions using WPML, specifically from German (de) used in Austria to German (de_DE_D - custom) used in Germany. They are uncertain about how to proceed with duplicating or automatically translating products.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend installing our Add-on "WooCommerce Multilingual & Multi-Currency". You can find the guide here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/
To duplicate your products, navigate to WPML > Translation Management and select "Product" from the dropdown on the top left. You can adjust the number of items displayed by using the "Screen Options". After selecting your products, use the option to create duplicates. For more details, visit: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#how-to-duplicate-pages-and-posts-in-bulk
Once you update the original product, the duplicates will automatically get updated.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am attempting to duplicate products for different German-speaking regions using WPML, specifically from German (de) used in Austria to German (de_DE_D - custom) used in Germany. I am following a specific step from a WPML forum thread.

Symptoms:
Uncertainty on how to proceed with duplicating or automatically translating products.

Questions:
How can I duplicate all 387 products so that everything remains the same for the German market in Germany using WPML?
Could you provide guidance on how to achieve automatic duplication or translation from German (de) to German (de_DE_D - custom)?

Hello,

If you are using WooCommerce, please make sure to install our Add-on "WooCommerce Multilingual & Multi-Currency".

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/

To duplicate your products go to WPML > Translation Management and select "Product" from the dropdown on the top left.

You can use the "Screen Options" to change the amount if items that should be displayed. See screenshot.

Then mark your products and use the option to create duplicates.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#how-to-duplicate-pages-and-posts-in-bulk

Now, once you update the original product, the duplicates will get updated automatically.

Best regards
Andreas
