[Resolved] Issues with some tables I'm the database
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing an error message on their WordPress dashboard indicating that the user 'asgescom_wp313' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource.
Solution: 1. We recommend updating the WPML plugin to the latest version, currently 4.6.10, and also updating all WPML add-ons. This ensures that the client benefits from the latest bug fixes and improvements. 2. Before updating, it's important to back up the database to prevent any data loss. 3. If the problem persists after updating, we suggest increasing the value of
PHP max_input_vars
in the PHP configuration.
Please note that this solution might not be relevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue continues, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Could you please update your WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.10 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements? This may not necessarily resolve your problem, however, in order to troubleshoot the issue best we need to work on the latest code available.
You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed.
If the issue persists after an update has been done, please try to increase the value of PHP max_input_vars.
There are various methods to increase the PHP Max Input Vars limit in WordPress, but it all depends on the hosting provider you are using. Keep in mind that you might not have the required permissions to increase the maximum PHP input variable limit. Therefore, it's best to contact your hosting provider and ask them to grant you the necessary permissions beforehand.
You can increase the PHP Max Input Vars limit by adding lines to the .htaccess file, php.ini, or wp-config.php.
I have checked with my hosting service, they increased the number but it still doesn't resolve the issue. How much should we set the number to, in order for to solve the issue (it is currently set to 10000)?
The parameter value is already sufficient. There is no need to increase it any further.
I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
