Background of the issue:
I’m having trouble seeing how many credits my site has used and how many I still need. The display shows that 36 have been allocated, even though I know many more have been used. It also suggests that more than 300,000 are required, which I believe isn’t correct. I used documentation to solve it myself, but I have the feeling there is something wrong.

Symptoms:
The number of credits displayed seems incorrect. It shows 36 credits allocated, but I believe more have been used. It also suggests that more than 300,000 credits are required, which seems incorrect.

Questions:
Could you please help me understand the correct number of credits used and required?

Hi,

I will try to answer the question before assigning the ticket to one of my colleagues.

You can learn more about the credit stats WPML used in the report by going to the WordPress dashboard > WPML > translation management > tools.

Scroll down and expand the "Automatic translation usage reports" accordion menu.

For more information:

https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-invoices/#where-to-find-your-past-pay-as-you-go-invoices

To be able to understand a ballpark of needed credits for your website automatic translation you can use the word count tool.

Go to WordPress dashboard > WPML > translation management > Dashboard.

Scroll down to see the "Word count for the entire site" link under the table.

Click that and you will get a ballpark information on what is needed for the credits.

Thanks.
