This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing several issues while translating pages on their website. These include incorrect page display with archive categories opening on the right, corrupted CSS settings after translation, inaccurate translations, and a 500 internal error when translating the home page.
Solution:
1. For the issue of archive categories appearing on the right and corrupted CSS, we recommend editing the English language page by selecting the "No Sidebar" option in the page settings. This can be done by navigating to the page edit section in the admin panel.
2. To address the 500 internal error during homepage translation, we suggest enabling the debug log on your server to identify the cause. You can find instructions on how to do this here: Debugging in WordPress.
3. If you encounter a 'Request Timeout' error, please contact your hosting provider to increase the server resources, which should help prevent this issue.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate pages on my website, specifically the home page and other pages like hidden link.

Symptoms:
After translation, the page display is incorrect with archive categories opening on the right, and the CSS settings are corrupted. Additionally, the translation is not accurate. When translating the home page, I encounter a 500 internal error.

Questions:
Why are the archive categories opening on the right after translation?
How can I fix the corrupted CSS settings after translation?
Why is the translation not accurate?
What causes the 500 internal error when translating the home page?

Thanks for contacting us.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked your About page and compared the page settings in the backend and I noticed that the English language page does not have the correct page settings selected. So, to fix this, you can edit the English language page here hidden link and select the "No Sidebar" page sidebar options.

I can see the error 500 when I try to translate the homepage. Can I have your permission to enable debug log on your server? https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/

I need to check what's causing the issue.

Thanks for your patience.

I keep getting this "Request Timeout
This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'."

Could you please reach out to your hosting provider and inform them of this error message? They should be able to identify the cause and increase the server resources to prevent this from happening. Once you've done that, please let me know so I can continue to investigate the translation issue with the homepage.

The problem was solved when I contacted our hosting provider. Thank you for your help. There are only footer and header elements that do not show string data. Is this problem related to our problem? Can you provide information about the solution?

note : The image belongs to the English footer page. Normally a few columns and content should appear in the dark blue areas. Also, it is not possible to change the Turkish text under the phone number in the header. You can check it from the Turkish page.
