This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to translate a listing on their website using the WPML translation editor. Instead of opening in the WPML editor, it reloads with an error or opens in the WordPress editor. This issue is specific to one listing, while others translate normally.
Solution:
1. We recommended the client to cancel the existing translation job, make a minor change to the listing, and then resend it for translation. Detailed steps for this process can be found here: https://wpml.org/faq/translation-status-stuck-or-displaying-the-error-wpml-didnt-manage-to-translate-this-page/
2. After further investigation, it appeared to be a database issue. We duplicated the listing in both languages, which resolved the problem.
3. We provided a screen recording to demonstrate how to translate the page using the Advanced Translation Editor, which can be viewed here: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZjrDjV9Jkg
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket for further assistance.
