Hi,

thanks, managed to do all the changes.

One thing I'm running into is the following:

When translating, I let the page be translated automatically, and then check the translation in WPML > Translations > Edit.
When I modify a translation (E-Fit By Cindy instead of E-Fit Par Cindy), click the check mark and click complete, it re-opens the visual example of the translated page.
However, the element I modified isn't shown there (also not when I publish the page).
Tried disabling my caching plugin but this didn't solve the problem.

Hello there,

After you edit the translation and save it, if you come back to the translation editor, is the text still there or does it revert to the previous value in the translation editor as well?

If it remains what you changed, I suspect this text might be coming from a different place.

What is the affected page/post?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Although I noticed that the page you shared as an example now seems to be different from the one in the screenshot you shared(please check bellow).

Can you check it and let me know if the issue is happening in a different page, or specific part of the page?

Yes, translating other texts works, but the title under the image on the right is the one causing the problem.

Another example: Body kuur / focus on (or basically all names that are translatable are translated, while they shouldn't).

All of a sudden, E-Fit par Cindy and Body-Update Essen were now correctly translated, but tried it again on Body kuur / focus on & B-Fitclub and the problem is still there. (see new screenshots)

Thank you for sharing that information.

I'd like to ask permission to make a copy/staging version of your site where I can debug this closely without affecting the live site.

I'll make sure to delete this copy as soon as we get this issue fixed.

I'm afraid of debugging directly on the live site and cause issues to your visitors. Also, it is important to test a different setup as part of the troubleshooting.

I sincerely apologize for the back and forth.

I checked it and I'm afraid I'm still unable to replicate the issue even in the live site, please see my screen record:

The title gets automatically updated the moment I edit the translation.

Not sure if this was caused by some caching system that has been purged perhaps. Or if I'm might be taking the wrong steps to replicate the error.

Have you tried using a different device/internet connection to see if the issue persists?

Thank you for your patience. After discussion with our second-tier support, we believe the issue might be related to caching or a compatibility conflict/environment specific issue. To pinpoint the exact cause, we need to isolate variables by replicating the issue in a sandbox environment.

Here's what is needed to be done:

1- Install Essential Components Only: In the sandbox provided in my private reply above, please install your theme and only the plugins necessary to replicate the issue. Avoid importing the entire site.

2- Set Up the Page and Configurations: Mirror your current setup that's causing the issue, focusing on the card titles and their translations.

3- Notify Us Once Done: After replicating the issue in the sandbox, inform us through this ticket so we can proceed with further analysis.

The goal here is to identify if the problem is indeed related to caching or if there's a compatibility issue at play, in a controlled environment that won't affect your live site.

Hi, in the sandbox, I've installed the theme (Divi) and Divi Pixel plugin (to rename the project slug to E-Fit Studio's). This is where I should add the page, but when I want to add a new page I get the error on the screenchot in attachement.

It seems like there was a small variable visibility issue within the file: divi-pixel/includes/modules/InfoCircle/InfoCircle.php

I corrected it and confirmed that it is possible to add pages now.

I also finished the WPML setup in the sandbox.

Can you see if it will allow you to continue now?

I checked it and the issue doesn't seem to happen in the sandbox.

I have escalated this ticket to our 2nd tier of support where our 2nd tier specialists will take a deeper look at this issue and will try to find a solution.
