Background of the issue:
I am trying to get full paragraphs translated at once, like in the old translation editor. Paragraphs are divided with line breaks for easier reading. Example: FIRST SENTENCE, empty line, SECOND SENTENCE, empty line, THIRD SENTENCE. I expected to see an editor where I can paste all translation at once, like in the classic editor with tabs 'visual' and 'text (html code)'. Instead, in the advanced translation editor, our text paragraphs are separated into dozens of lines, each line break between parts is a new separate field: hidden link. Also, when I switched back to the classic editor, the text field is no longer in a form with visual/text tabs, but just one field with HTML: <p style="color: #7a7a7a; text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">87 km – 5 dana – hidden link">GPS datoteka</span></p><p style="color: #000000; text-align: center;">SOME TEXT SENTENCE</p>.

Symptoms:
In the advanced translation editor, text paragraphs are separated into dozens of lines, each line break is a new separate field. I have to paste dozens of sentences within the paragraph separately, which takes too much time. 'Prefer bigger segments' is turned on, but I don't see the 'link' icon to merge segments. In the classic editor, the text field is no longer in a form with visual/text tabs, but just one field with HTML.

Questions:
How can I get full paragraphs translated at once in the advanced translation editor?
Why is the text field in the classic editor no longer in a form with visual/text tabs?

Hi there,

Are you translating the content outside of the ATE editor?

In that case you might want to think about not using the ATE editor and instead using the WP Editor.

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

With the bigger segments option activated you should be able to edit a paragraph as a whole.

Try this:

- Activate the big segments
- Save
- Make a small edit to your defautl lagnuage and update the translation.

Let me know your results, please.
