Hello,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue.
It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I'll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site.
This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.

**IMPORTANT**
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields.

Best Regards,
Otto

Hello,

Thanks.

About the notifications. Check the settings in https://wpml.org/account/account-preferences/ (check the screenshot attached). And also check this ticket settings at the top of the page (check the other screenshot attached).

Regarding the issue. I logged into the site and tried to make a copy of it to test without affecting it, but both Duplicator and All in One Migration plugins failed (probably due to space).

I took a look and I think the issue may come from the page custom metabox settings or two custom Elementor widgets that are not registered.

For the first hypothesis. Go to the front end, switch to English and edit the page (not Edit with Elementor). You'll see a warning but click on Edit Anyway. Then, make sure that the settings of Page Settings (custom metabox from theme) of the translation are the same as in the original page.

For the second hypothesis. We need to "register" the Slider and Product Category Elementor elements, which seem to be added by the theme or a plugin (not standard Elementor widgets). To do so, you can follow this documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multilingual-tools/registering-custom-elementor-widgets-for-translation/

If this does not help, I'll need you to provide me with a DB dump and a zip file with the wp-content folder, so I can deploy a copy of your site locally to take a deeper look. I enabled a private reply so you can share a download link safely in case it's needed.

Best Regards,
Otto

Thanks!

Hi you should be able to create the staging now, the fix worked for the front page, but we still have problems with the shop page with the uncategorised showing up and all translated pages having the page title showing all of a sudden.

can you help me with the slider and product categories?

Regards Cornelius

I have been able to remove the post and page titles, but I was a bit to quick before, the front page still has issues regarding not being similar to the original in Danish

Hello,

Thanks Cornelius. But I am still having problems to create a copy of the site to debug it locally. I tried with Updraft plus (the plugin that you've already installed) and it does not finish. Can you try it yourself?

Please let me know when the backup is ready and I'll grab it from the site and deploy it in my local environment to find a solution.

Best Regards,
Otto

Yes it has been finished on Updraft Plus so you can get the backup from there 🙂

Hello,

Thanks!

Please, apologize for the delay. But it was a bit tricky to find out where the slider with was set.

In my local copy of your site, I did the following:
- I went to Slides
- Using the admin bar language switcher, I switched to English
- I edited "Jane-winther-ny2"
- Clicked on Edit anyway
- And at the bottom, "Slide Settings" > Layout, I toggled on "Full width content"
- Saved

This fixed the issue for me.

Can you please give it a try on your end? Let me know how it goes, please.

Best Regards,
Otto

No worries I will try it and get back, how about the issue with the shop page all of a sudden not showing the same design on both and the Danish showing uncategorised as a category. Did you have time to look into that?🙏

Hello,

Great, thanks. Let me know how it goes.

Sorry about the shop page issue, I thought you managed to fix it. I created a new ticket for it. In our experience, handling one issue per ticket leads to better communication and results.

I'll follow up here:
