This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported an issue where the 'Read more' button on the post page with news articles does not translate when using a filter after switching the website language.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to address the issue:
1) Navigate to 'Templates > Saved templates > All > German'.
2) Edit the Loop template in the WP editor and unlink it from the English version by selecting 'This is a translation of = NONE' and save.
3) Independently edit the template in the Elementor editor, ensuring to add the correct 'Read more' text in GERMAN.
4) Return to 'Templates > Saved templates > All > German'.
5) Edit the blog archive template in the Elementor editor.
6) Select the German Loop template in the Loop grid widget and save.
Additionally, the issue was resolved in WPML version 4.9. We recommend updating to this version if you haven't already. You can download it from the 'Commercial' tab at 'Plugins > Add Plugin' or directly from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance.

Hello,
We've noticed an issue on our website. On the post page (with news articles) there's a filter that filters the post according to the categorie. When I switch the language of the website and go to the News page everything is translated correctly (image 1). But when I use the filter, it loads the "Read more" button in original language "Preberite več" (image 2). If I refresh the page it gets translated.

We would like for the translations to occur when using the filter. Is there any way we can solve this problem?

Sincerely!

Hello,

I will set up a test site and try to replicate this issue with Elementor PRO and WPML.

Once I am done with this task, I will reach out to you again.

Best regards
Andreas

The reported issue is replicable on a new test site running Elementor PRO and WPML and has been escalated to our second-tier support for further revision.

Until now, I can sadly not offer a workaround and would kindly like to ask you for some patience.

The reported issues have been escalated to our development team.

The compatilbity team would suggest solving the issue currently using this workflow:
1) Go to "Templates > Saved templates > All > German"
2) Edit the Loop template in the WP editor and unlink it from the EN version by selecting "This is a translation of = NONE" and save
3) Now the template is independent, edit it in the Elementor editor and ensure to add the proper "Read more" text in GERMAN
4) Go back to "Templates > Saved templates > All > German"
5) This time edit the blog archive template in the Elementor editor
6) Select the German Loop template in the Loop grid widget and save
