This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You want to remove languages from your site and followed the documentation at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-completely-remove-a-language-from-your-site/. After disabling the languages, you attempted to delete the remaining data as described, but encountered an issue where a spinning wheel appears and the process does not complete.
Solution:
The issue might be related to limited server resources. We recommend checking your server's resource limits and increasing them if necessary. Additionally, ensure that you have a full site backup before proceeding with further deletion steps. If the problem persists, please provide us with temporary access credentials so we can investigate further. Make sure to do this through a secure method.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I want to remove languages from my site. I followed the documentation at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-completely-remove-a-language-from-your-site/ and disabled the languages. Now, I am trying to delete the remaining data as described in step 3 of the documentation.

Symptoms:
After initiating the deletion, a spinning wheel appears for a couple of minutes, then the popup reverts to its original state and nothing happens.

Questions:
Why does the operation take so long for a single page?
Could a time limit in the runtime of requests or PHP be causing the issue?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.

Based on what you’ve described, this issue may be related to limited server resources. However, we’ll need more information to confirm the cause.

Could you please share temporary access credentials to your site in your next message? I’ve enabled a private reply to ensure your information remains secure. Additionally, let me know which language you're trying to remove so I can investigate further.

Before proceeding, please confirm that you've created a full site backup that can be restored if needed.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Carlos
