This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where turning on the option to hide a language in WPML hides the language in the frontend for you as an admin, making it difficult to check the completeness of translations.
Solution:
We recommend that you enable the display of hidden languages in your profile settings. This adjustment will allow you to see the hidden languages on the frontend while logged in as an admin. You can find detailed instructions on how to make this change in our documentation here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/hiding-languages-on-the-front-end/
If the problem persists, please provide more details and screenshots. We have enabled debug information for this support ticket. Follow the instructions here to retrieve this information from your site and provide it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
Please note that the solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue still exists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket for further assistance.
