Background of the issue:
I am trying to remove all links to ?lang= and ensure only the directory option is used. I updated the translation on each product, but the old ?lang= is still appearing. Other pages with this problem include: hidden link, hidden link, hidden link. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I expected the link to be hidden link, but instead, I got hidden link.

Questions:
How can I ensure that only the directory option is used without ?lang= links?
Why are the old ?lang= links still appearing after updating translations?
