Hi there,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

1. Please go to the Properties page in your WP dashboard and make sure the translation is complete (Shows a pencil icon)

2. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, and resave the settings without making any changes.

3. If the issue persists after trying the above steps, please create a full backup of the database and website then go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page, and click the following:

- Clear the Cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML table collation
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Hello, Mohamed! Thank you for the quick reply, I’ve made all the steps, there are some changes, but the issue persist.
Now the page is showing, but there are no description as in the original English version. Also when you switch to Polish language the flag is not changing, but showing as English without options.

Hi,

I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to investigate the issue further.
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website first❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site if needed.

If you don't see the form below, please don't add your credentials as they will be publicly exposed:

Thanks for your cooperation

Thanks for providing the access details.

I checked the site and found that this property is not translated into any language (Please check the attached screenshot).

I also see that the WPML Translation editor is disabled for this property, this means that you'll have to create the property from scratch using the WordPress editor in each language.

If you're trying to translate the property content and use the same design in all languages, you can switch back to the WPML editor (Screenshot is attached).

Please translate the property first, then you can see the other languages in the language switcher. Kindly check this guide for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/creating-multilingual-real-estate-sites-with-houzez-theme-and-wpml/#translating-properties-agencies-and-agents

This is another translated property and you can see that the switcher shows all the languages: hidden link

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Hello, Mohamed,
No, the property IS translated.
The original version is in English: hidden link
And when I try to switch to polish, suddenly it’s appears as a separate listing in polish, but no text and English flag.

I imported a copy of the site locally to do more tests and found that there is a clone of the Polish translation created in the default language hidden link

When You switch to the Polish translation there is a 301 redirect from the correct URL to the untranslated clone mentioned above, and this is why you see only the English flag hidden link

I couldn't find what is causing this redirect so I'm consulting the 2nd tier support team and will update you once I get their reply.

Kind regards.

Hi,
Thanks for your patience.

Changing the slug of the Polish post created in the default language (ID 103255) fixed the issue. Please see this recording: hidden link

Let us know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed
