Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where translated taxonomies are not appearing correctly when assigned to a post, even after translating them and assigning to a new post.
Solution:
We recommend updating the posts in the original language to refresh the translation settings. After updating the original post, please also update the translation to check if the issue still persists. If the problem continues, it might be necessary to further investigate the specific posts and categories involved.

We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi Bigul,

I also translated a taxonomy but noticed they aren't translated when assigned to a post. I created a dummy post assigned all categories and translated this, but the category names don't change on older posts. Did I forget to do something?

Please update the posts in the original language to refresh the translation settings. Then update the translation and make sure the bug exists or not.

If the problem remains, please share the URL of the post having the issue, and also the Category term missing in the translations.
