This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wants to restart the translation of their website without translating the slugs. They are also concerned about whether they will be charged again for the translation and how to handle already translated slugs.
Solution:
To restart the translation process without affecting the slugs, we recommend performing a WPML reset. This can be done by following the steps outlined here: WPML Reset Guide.
For managing slug translations, you can prevent slugs from being translated by following the guidance in this forum post: Stop Slug Translation. Additionally, to edit an already translated slug, use the quick edit options as detailed here: Change WordPress Page Slug and here for taxonomies: Change WordPress Tag and Category Slug.

If these solutions do not apply to your case, or if they seem outdated, please check the related known issues at WPML Known Issues. We also recommend confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, feel free to open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.

Background of the issue:
I have a big problem with my current translation content, and I want to restart the translation of my website. Additionally, I don't want to translate my slug. For example, the main language is domian.com/about, and other languages are domian.com/de/about, domian.com/fr/about.

Symptoms:
N/A

Questions:
How should I restart the translation of my website, and will I be charged again for the translation fee?
How should I set it so that my slug is not translated?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

For the slug, can you check this?
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-do-i-stop-page-slugs-from-being-translated/#post-15334263

As for removing translations, you can check this https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/#step-1-remove-the-secondary-languages-and-all-existing-translations

What is translated is translated, so you don't have to worry about that as it will be stored within translation memory.
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/

However if you reset WPML you will also delete this connection.

Bruno Kos

Hello.
Thanks for your reply, I'm only thinking about URL translation right now, I'm just a newbie so I don't really understand the terminology in WPML.

All I know is that I want the URLs for my dependent languages to be based on my main language URLs, with the path to the language identifier after the domain name. All content such as product categories, article categories, etc. do not translate Slug only copy.

But my current slug is already translated, what should I do if I want it not to be translated

You can do it through quick edit:

For taxonomies also:

Just make sure you've changed the language so that you edit the slug in desired language.
