ACF Fields Loading Default Language Content Upon Editing in WPML (manual)

marcoR-11	My ACF fields are configured to "copy once" for translation purposes, but I'm facing a peculiar issue: After translating a post or page, I can delete the content in the custom fields without any problems. However, if I later return to edit any of these fields, the other empty custom fields automatically refill with content from the original version (default language). This refill happens only when I edit one of the fields, not automatically upon opening the editor.

I test this issue again on my demo site and do not see that. After publishing the translation post, I can delete or update the field value as well. Can you please take a screen record of the issue on your end? Or try to replicate it on a clean installation of WordPress.
