So, I was indeed talking about an internal link.
So internal links DO get adjusted.

So the questions is does it do this for all ACF fields normally, excluding the Link field?

WPML should automatically ajust the link field. This only might be the exception if a internal link would show up inside the WPML Translation Editor, which could be the case for some page builders or if a link field is set to "Translate".

This is why the ACF link field is by default set to "Copy" on our configuration.

The internal linking can only work if the content that you are linking to is already translated and published.

Further, you can fix internal links by going to WPML > Settings > Translate Link Targets > Scan now and adjust links.
