This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to manually translate content using the Advanced Translation Editor in WPML, despite having disabled the automatic translation option. The translation box was not appearing as expected. Solution: We first suggested that the client click on the empty space where the translation box should appear, as it might still trigger the box to show up. When this did not resolve the issue, we confirmed that the client was using a new version of the Advanced Translation Editor that had been released recently, I suggested to revert to the previous version with the desired translation box. We then directed the client to follow the instructions on https://wpml.org/errata/html-attributes-not-available-for-translation-in-advanced-translation-editor/ to see if they could revert to the older Advanced Translation Editor.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I was manually translating my site with Advanced Translation Editor on WPML. The site I need help with is hidden link. I have disabled the option 'Translate all content automatically when the editor opens' and tried to implement the solution mentioned in the documentation at https://wpml.org/errata/cant-connect-to-the-translation-editor-or-stuck-translation-jobs/.
Symptoms:
Advanced Translation Editor only allows me to translate automatically even though I have disabled the automatic translation option.
Questions:
Why is the Advanced Translation Editor only allowing automatic translation despite disabling the automatic translation option?
How can I resolve the issue of being unable to manually translate content?
I've checked your screenshot and I noticed some issues with the advanced translation editor. It is not showing the box to translate the Yoast SEO meta description which I think it's a glitch or a bug.
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Could you maybe disable the two factor authentication so that I could check? Or maybe you can provide an access to a staging site where I can work on it without interrupting your production site.
Could you please specify which post you're referring to? I didn’t encounter any issues when I reviewed your website. Could you share the URL of the specific page or post that needs translation so I can assist you using the Advanced Translation Editor?
I’ve checked the homepage here: hidden link and noticed that if you’ve made any changes to the primary language page, you’ll need to complete the translations accordingly.
Hi, thanks for the help
The advanced translation editor works, but when translating products, it is not showing the box to translate as you pointed out in #15991108, so I can't translate and because it gives me the only option to translate automatically, I just want to show the box to translate in the advanced translation editor.
You can go to WooCommerce and then WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency and open the advanced translation editor and notice that and this is a direct link: hidden link
Here is a link to a product I am trying to translate hidden link
This applies to all products and I was previously translating normally and the box to translate window appears
Best Regards
Hi, thanks for replying
When you click on the empty area, the translation box does not appear, only the original text is copied, you can test this yourself, I still have two-factor authentication disabled, waiting for the issue to be resolved
Here is a link to a product to try it yourself hidden link
Best Regards
Hello, thank you for your patience
I have tried the advanced editor and it works, but my question is why the translation box does not appear and this is a picture from your site showing the translation box, but mine does not appear because working through the translation box is easier for me

You're currently using the new Advanced Translation Editor that was released a few days ago. Unfortunately, there's no option to revert to the previous version as shown in your screenshot.
