I received a response from our 2nd Tier Support and the reason the Advanced Translation Editor breaks is because the field group hidden link field destination_location and destination_drop_off_location has so many options and ATE trying to translate them.

You need to set these fields Translation Preference as "Don't translate" and then, make minor edits to the page and re-translate it.

I've made the changes on your staging site but I couldn't test it yet due to the sitekey mismatch hidden link . Could you regenerate a new site key and register it?

Then, try translating the page into a new language here hidden link and see if it works.

thanks but still having problems

I checked the feilds and they were already set to no translate for page

So I proceed with translate option and it produced an error message, please see attached.

I then tried again and this time no error message but just displayed blank hanging screen see attached

Cancelled the translation job made small edit to title and resubmitted and still stuck on white screen

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Here's the feedback from our 2nd Tier Support:

Apologies for the confusion earlier. The issue lies not with the field value, but rather with the label.

I've included this constant link: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/wpml-constants/#acfml_exclude_field_group_strings_in_post_jobs , and upon resending the jobs, it resolved the issue.

Add the following in wp-config.php:

define( 'ACFML_EXCLUDE_FIELD_GROUP_STRINGS_IN_POST_JOBS', true );

Even after setting the fields link: hidden link for translation (with identical fields across languages), the solution still holds. Please ensure to resend the jobs that are currently in progress.
