This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
After reinstalling WPML due to an expired license and uninstalling it, the client is unable to translate pages. The error message received is: 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed.' Additionally, there are issues with switching languages on some pages.
Solution:
We recommend navigating to WPML → Translation Management, selecting the affected page, and sending it again for translation. This should resolve the issue of being unable to translate the page. If the problem persists, please identify which specific pages are affected and inform us.
For further assistance, you can check the related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue still persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to use WPML on my site hidden link. After reinstalling WPML due to an expired license and uninstalling it, I am unable to translate pages.

Symptoms:
When I click the webpage sign '+', it does not pop up the edit webpage to translate. The error message is: 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed.' and some webpage after I translated , I cannot from en to ja from language switch

Questions:
Why can't I translate pages after reinstalling WPML?
What does the error 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed' mean?

Additionally, check if there are any migration-related notifications in WPML → Translation Management, as described here:

If the problem persists, navigate to WPML → Support and click on the Troubleshooting link. On the Troubleshooting page, look for and click the button labeled Force-enable WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor (please note that this button may not always appear).

As another step, try triggering a translation update by making a small change to the original page (e.g., adding a dot), saving it, then removing the change and saving again. This should mark the translation as needing an update, allowing you to re-enter the WPML translation editor.

but still not work.

I can not canceled these translate job. It not exists but cannot delete! Please help again, and and I delete home page of translation job too?

I also cannot take and translate it

Sorry , I dont know whether I should ask here.
If it is not acceptable, I will open a new ticket.

Now I meet problems. Can not delete all the content you have translated into "Vietnamese" from your database. In fact, I want to keep en and jp, delete all other language from database.

And many translation job to other language, I can not cancel.

You can only cancel in progress jobs.

When a translation is complete you can´t cancel that job.

Do you want to complete delete all the languages that are not english and japanese?

If you give me permission I can help you with that and complete delete a language from the database. Please let me know which language you want to delete.

I have completed deleted the rest of the languages.

This is the query I run for each language changing the corresponding language code:

DELETE p
FROM wp_posts p
JOIN wp_icl_translations t ON p.ID = t.element_id
WHERE t.language_code = 'es' AND t.element_type LIKE 'post_%';

DELETE FROM wp_icl_translations
WHERE language_code = 'es';

DELETE ts
FROM wp_icl_translation_status ts
JOIN wp_icl_translations t ON ts.translation_id = t.translation_id
WHERE t.language_code = 'es';

DELETE FROM wp_icl_string_translations
WHERE language = 'es';

Now if you go to WPML --> Languages you will see that doesn´t appear.

Sorry for disturb you again.

Seems translate menu funciton disfunction now too.

When click sync menu struchture. seems not sync all, and cannot them in translation string.
Can not find these string !
Please help again. and remove other language menu!

Firs of all you need to translate all the pages of the menu. As you see they are not translated.
