[Resolved] AI Translation Tool Interest

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is considering adding the AI Translation tool to their WPML account and requested documents such as SOC2 Certification, GAI/AI Technical, and ISO 27001. They also inquired about initiating an NDA and MSA with WPML.
Solution:
We informed the client that WPML does not hold SOC 2 or ISO/IEC 27001 certifications. However, we follow robust security and privacy practices to protect customer data. The AI Translation feature connects the site to third-party AI translation providers, and any content submitted for translation is processed according to the provider's security and privacy policies. We do not use the translated content to train AI models nor retain it beyond what is necessary to provide the service. We can provide a high-level technical explanation of the AI Translation workflow and data flows, along with references to the security and privacy documentation of the supported AI providers. Additionally, WPML does not offer custom versions of its Terms of Service or NDAs, as all customers adhere to the standard Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available on our website.

WPML does not currently hold SOC 2 or ISO/IEC 27001 certifications. That said, WPML follows consistent and well-established security and privacy practices designed to protect customer data and limit its exposure. The AI Translation feature does not rely on proprietary or self-trained AI models; instead, WPML functions as an integration layer that connects your site to third-party AI translation providers selected by you.

Any content submitted for translation is processed by the chosen AI provider in accordance with their own security and privacy policies. WPML does not use translated content to train AI models and does not retain it beyond what is necessary to provide the service. We can provide a high-level technical explanation of the AI Translation workflow and data flows, as well as references to the security and privacy documentation of the supported AI providers, to support your internal assessment.

WPML does not provide custom versions of its Terms of Service or non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for signature. All customers are governed by and adhere to the standard Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement (DPA) published on our website, which applies uniformly across all clients.
