This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to proceed with automatic translations on their website due to a conflict with the WP External Link plugin. Additionally, they had an issue with an unpaid invoice.
Solution:
We advised the client to deactivate the conflicting plugin, which resolved the issue with the page loading and allowed the automatic translations to proceed. For the unpaid invoice, we provided a direct link to facilitate the payment. If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend trying to deactivate any recently installed or updated plugins that might be interfering with WPML's functionality. It's also wise to check if the problem persists by switching to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty-One and deactivating all other plugins except for WPML and its add-ons. Remember to back up your site before making these changes.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hi, and thanks for the access details.

I've checked things on your site and passed some requested information to our second-tier supporter.

We suspect a collision with the theme or another plugin might cause this problem. If possible, get your site into a minimum environment, Which means switching to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty-One and having no plugins activated except WPML.

First, you need to check if the problem persists when just the theme is switched to TwentyTwenty-One (for example). If it persists, deactivate all plugins except the WPML and its add-ons. Then please check if the problem persists. If it does not persist, start by activating the plugins individually, check when the problem comes back, and then report which plugin was the culprit.

**** Important! Please make a full site backup (files and DB) before you proceed with those steps****

*** If your site is live, you might want to try those procedures in a staging environment or a snapshot of your site on your local server or another server. ***

Please note that my weekend is Friday-Saturday, and I'll be able to continue to check this issue and help you on Sunday.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi Itamar,

thanks for the advice. I was able to change the payment method. The problem was the plugh in WP External Link. After deactivating it the page was loading.

But I have still an unpaid invoic, how can I pay it? I did not find any option to pay it manually.

Thanks

Dario
