I can see the problem on the staging site. The second email has the order details in French (I ordered in English). Please see the attached screenshot.

Can I deactivate all the third-party plugins and switch the theme on the staging site for further investigation?

Hi,

I've switched the theme to Twenty Tewbety-Fours and deactivated all the third-party plugins. But the AutomateWoo plugin is not at its latest version 6.0.28. On your site, it is version 6.0.16 from 2024-02-21. Please see the attached screenshot. We must test this problem with the newest version of the plugin in question.

Can you please update AutomateWoo to its latest version?

Please tell me if any plugins other than the one in the screenshot must be active to test this issue.

Hi,

The plugin AutomateWoo is updated to 6.0.28.
You need to activate the plugins Woocommerce Bookings and ACF too. The AutomateWoo's workflow is set on workshops products only (bookable products). I did it for you.

On the checkout, you will see 2 "Bank transfer" method (because Booster for Woocommerce is deactivated, we used it to display payment methods according to products categories in cart). For workshops you need to select the bank transfer where the input id is "payment_method_cheque"

I'm unable to replicate the issue. Updating to 6.0.28 (or something else I'm unaware of) fixed the issue. I made another test by ordering the product in English. The first email was OK, as expected. The second email was also OK; the description was in English instead of French, as before. Please see the attached screenshot.

Can you please confirm it is OK now?

Hi,

I run some tests, and I still have the issue.
I placed an order in DE (#145273), the first email is ok. But the second one sent by AutomateWoo, the instructions is in FR (see capture order_145273).

I also make a test where I have 2 orders waiting in AutomateWoo queue.
The first was a order placed in FR #145262 (both emails were ok), but the second order was in DE #145268. The first email is correct (all in DE), but the second one sent by Automated Woo has only the subject in DE. All the content of the email is in FR, not only the instructions (see capture order_145268).

I can see the problem with the orders you specified.

I want to proceed and esclate this case to our second-tier supporters. Previously, you didn't give your permission to take a copy of the site. You wrote:

You are NOT authorised to create a copy of the site to test on your own.

Can you please make a copy of the site and send it to us?
You can use a plugin like Duplicator or All-in-One WP Migration.
You can upload it to a service like Google Drive or Dropbox and share the link with me.
For this, I'll enable private messages for the next reply.

We cannot provide you with a copy of the site for reasons of confidentiality. The site contains confidential information. As we have already shared access to the site, we want to limit any risk of data leakage.
Can you work directly on the staging site provided?

Hi,

Thank you, hope it can be fixed by the supporters.

About the site's copy, we don't have only personal informations in users tables, there is all meta data of orders, some plugins with personal access and private licenses. A lot of informations need to be deleted.

I hope the staging will be sufficient for the support. We will see about the copy if not.
Have you an idea when the support will work on this please ?
The staging site is not usable for our client during your tests ( I understand that it's because we don't give access to a copy), but it's just to get an idea.

Our second-tier supporter discovered that the issue on your site is the same as the known issue below.

Applying the workaround to your staging site solved the problem. Now, the description of the delayed email is in the correct second language. Please see the attached screenshot. Please check the Order number:145298.

Please apply the workaround on your production site.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but I've run some more tests and the problem persists...
See orders 145304, 145309 and 145314. The instructions in the second email sent by AutomateWoo are still in french.
The rest of the email content is not always in the right language too.
I placed the order 145309 in EN, and the second email is in EN but the instructions are in FR.
I placed the order 145304 and 145314 in IT. The second email for 145309 is in EN and the instructions are in FR. The second email for 145314 is in IT but the instructions are still in FR.

Could you check with other languages than EN please ? There is IT and DE in addition to FR and EN.
Could the current language of the site at the time of the cron trigger have an impact on the language of emails ? Shouldn't be always according to the order language and not the current language ?

FYI, WP Cron are disabled, we manually set the cron tasks via systemd.
