[Resolved] Avada form won't send in second languages
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
I have a from that I can submit in EN but not in ES and FR. I mean that in EN, the form response is stored in the DB and I receive a notification. With the other languages, nothing happen when I submit the form.
here is the link to the contact form in EN: https://staging2.notionb2b.com/contact/
You can swith to another language in the same page.
Solution:
You need to use the drop down to switch to French and then you will see the French entries.

I did some further testing. I set up a clean install and was not able to reproduce the issue there. Feel free to use this link and change settings or anything you would like to test: hidden link
I then went back to your live site and switched to French. I think previously, I did not fill out the phone number field. This time I did, and the form submitted and I see the submission on the backend. Can you test and let me know if you find the same results?
I was checking with and without a phone number but I don't see any difference.
I can't neither find any new form entries in the DB (see screenshot - All entries here has been done via the EN version of the form).
I just tested it again on your live site. In your screenshot, you are looking at the English form. You need to use the drop down to switch to French and then you will see the French entries.
Oh my gosh!!! 🙂
As easy as that. So, Indeed it's working. Messages are recorded in the DB.
The only point missing is the email notification that I don't receive in secondary languages. Any idea why? I'll try to find on my side if there is any way to solve that.
Hello Lauren,
I've solved the notification issue.
Maybe just a last point - Where can I find the debug log? I can't find it.
Should I disable it now in the wp-config.php file?
WHen there are background errors, you will find debug.log in the wp-content folder of your site. I think it doesn't exist because there were no background errors happening. You can disable it for now, and you can keep the code in your wp-config.php folder, just set the options to false until you need to troubleshoot with it again in the future.
Have a great rest of your day!
