[Resolved] best practice error in google pagespeed insights
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: I am encountering a "best practice error" on Google PageSpeed Insights when WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) is activated on my site. This issue is causing a significant reduction in website speed. Additionally, WPML seems to be creating a Charset error.
Solution: To resolve the speed issue and Charset error caused by WPML, consider disabling certain features within WPML that may be impacting site performance. In this case, disabling the language detection feature in WPML resolved the problem. For more specific issues like Charset errors, checking the configuration in `wp-config.php` and adjusting image resolutions may be necessary. It's also advisable to continuously monitor changes on the website and test their impact on site performance.

Hola!
