This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with disappearing translations in the French version of their article, resulting in mixed languages on the page. This problem might be due to changes in the segmentation logic in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) that occurred before an update in August 2024.
Solution:
An update has been published on the ATE Server that should resolve this issue. We recommend updating one of the affected translations to see if the issue persists.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/.

My apologies for the delay in handling the issue, but I can not escalate an issue without knowing what is causing it and this is a very odd issue.

I was finally able to see the errors. It occurs once the spellchecker is disabled.

Our ATE development team already has a open tasks for this issue and I have added this ticket as reference.

Until now I can sadly not give you a date about when an update will be available to solve this issue.

I can only suggest not to disable the "Spellchecker" at the moment.

Thank you.

I hope this will remain stable for the future.

It might be wise to have a function in the settings that would allow you to change or update this setting for each user.

Because at the moment each user can have different settings and it is, as you may have noticed, difficult to debug.

This is true, it was not easy to troubleshoot at all.

I have added this suggestion to the development task.

FYI we are in legacy mode currently because we had the bug even though the spell checker was on.

Now we cross our fingers.

Thank you for your feedback!

Is it currently working out using the legacy version of the Advanced Translation Editor?

I am waiting for further feedback from the developers and I took a local copy of your site for further testing. Once I get any news I will reach out to you again.

Our developers have confirmed that the reported issue should be solved in the upcoming update for the Advanced Translation Editor.

Until now I do not have a date for this update but you will not need to update our plugins for this. Those updates will be uploaded directly to the server on which the Advanced Translation Editor is running.

Our ATE Team has published an update on our ATE Server that should solve the reported issue.

Could you please give it a try by updating one of the affected translations and let me know if the issue persists?
