This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with disappearing translations in the French version of their article, resulting in mixed languages on the page. This problem might be due to changes in the segmentation logic in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) that occurred before an update in August 2024. Solution: An update has been published on the ATE Server that should resolve this issue. We recommend updating one of the affected translations to see if the issue persists.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/.

Thank you for your feedback!
Is it currently working out using the legacy version of the Advanced Translation Editor?
I am waiting for further feedback from the developers and I took a local copy of your site for further testing. Once I get any news I will reach out to you again.

Our developers have confirmed that the reported issue should be solved in the upcoming update for the Advanced Translation Editor.
Until now I do not have a date for this update but you will not need to update our plugins for this. Those updates will be uploaded directly to the server on which the Advanced Translation Editor is running.
