Tell us what you are trying to do? We are trying to duplicate english content to german translation of the page "Hero Plan: From zero to $30.000/month in 90 days". Now only title gets copied all page content is still completely missing in german translation.

Is there any documentation that you are following? I tried suggestions from here, but they don't work: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/when-we-click-translate-the-product-post-the-content-doesnt-copy/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi there,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Please try to duplicate the page with the following steps:

- Go to WPML > Translation Management
- Select the page
- Under the Translation options section, choose Duplicate content
- Click "Duplicate"

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Please send me a link to the page where you see this issue.

I would also need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) so I can investigate this issue further.
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website before providing us with access details ❌

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

If you don't see the form below, please don't add your credentials as they will be publicly exposed:

Hi,

The page has no content, the issue was caused because the content was added with an Elementor template "Elementor Single Page #352" which was not translated.

I translated the template and now the two versions of the page show the same content, please see here: hidden link

Kindly check this guide for more details about how to translate the Elementor templates: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translate-elementor-templates

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Hi Mohammed,

I am still facing the same problem. I read the guide and followed the steps. I see all my templates as translated. However, when I try to edit german content (translation) I see the error - screenshot attached. If I click edit template I land on some other template that's connected to a different page. I lost a whole page today, because I was editing another template connected to another page.

For clarification what I would lik to achieve:

I would like to copy the content of english page "Hero Plan: From zero to $30.000/month in 90 day" to german page I created "Helden-Plan: Von Null auf $30.000/Monat in 90 Tagen". But when I try to Edit with elementor I see the error attached.

Please help!

Hi,

Could you please send me a screen recording showing where you see this error?

I checked the site again and the two versions of the page show the same content, also I can edit the German version with Elementor then I can edit the German template from there.

The problem is definitely still there...

If you check german translation:
heroes-agency.com/de/zerotohero/
heroes-agency.com/de/unseredienstleistungen/

Both templates now look the same...I've lost 2 translations already. We definitely didn't st them to be the same.

They should look like this:

Hi,

The two pages /zerotohero/ and /ourservices/ are created in different ways.

The content of "zerotohero" page is added via the "Elementor Single Page #352" template. I don't see any issues with it because the page/template are translated and when I switch to the German version, it shows the same design: hidden link

The content of the "ourservices" page is added to the page directly and you see different content on the German page "unseredienstleistungen" because they are not connected to each other as translations. This means that they're two different pages and this is why it shows a different design (hidden link).

Please create a full backup of the database and website first (You can use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/).

Then try the following steps:

- Go to Pages > All Pages
- Find the "Our Services" page
- Click the + sign to create the translation

This should create the German version of the page with the same design of the English version.
