This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You have a list of posts created in English and translated to Spanish and Portuguese. After making changes in English, you are unable to enter the translator editor for the other languages. Instead, it opens the regular post editor with a warning that the translation is in process.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend switching to the WPML Translation Editor to translate the post again. If you are using ACF field group mode "Different fields across languages", you will need to edit the field group, change the mode to "Same fields across languages", and then switch to the WPML Translation Editor. For more detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation:
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
