[Resolved] Can't find indipendent translation, trying to trash a translation but still there

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was facing issues with their multilingual WordPress site using WPML. The English translation of the homepage was showing a 404 error if the website runs with "A Different Directory per Language".
Solution:
We identified that the 404 error on the English homepage was due to the server configuration not properly handling 'Different languages in directories'. We recommended contacting the hosting provider to address this server configuration issue.
We also recommended recreating the English menu and syncing it using WPML > WP Menus Sync to address issues with the menu caused by changing the site's default language.

Maybe the english site is there with the right URL, but the other problems that we can't solve are still there:
1.the menu in french is all messed up
2. the Elemntor element of News (Nouvelles) on the first photo is still not there in English
3. the Events at the home page in english are not there also.

I put images, but you can see it clearly at the site.

Please let me know what you can do.

It looks like you first ran this site in English, then switched the site default language to French.

This can cause menus to break, and you will no longer be able to sync them.

I would suggest in this case to delete the English menu, then recreate the original menu in French, and after that, sync the menu with WPML > WP Menus Sync.
