Hi,

We are using WP All Import, so no need to run WPML Export Import after importing content in the second language. You also need to separate the import file for second languages with the corresponding content, for example:
German: Import_test_de.csv
French: Import_test_fr.csv
English: Import_test_en.csv

I also create a screen record of steps to import translation products on the sandbox site, here is the URL hidden link

Please follow the documentation step-by-step to use WP All Import to import content in multiple languages
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/legacy-wpml-all-import/importing-multiple-languages-with-wp-all-import-and-wpml/

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi

Sorry, I cant believe what I m hearing!
Your support told me that I have to import everything in one file. So me and my client changed everything. To fit in one file where alle three languages are included.

I really dont know what to do anymore. I did everything as you told me to do.
And now I can start from scratch again. Sorry for my impatients.

WPML Support told me thats the final adjustment and we can go live.
Now I can not go back and do it again with separate files. There it also didnt work... So do you have an example this import over WPML All Import and WPML Export and Import ever worked?

What should I do now? Can you please talk again with second level support?

Hi,

You can open the Dropbox URL to a new tab to view the screen record, please don't click on it directly.

Then you can see I use separated import files as noted in the documentation when using WP All Import and WPML All Import plugins. The hierarchy categories are associated with the translation product as well.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi,

I did this already, I imported all the products with in three different files. And it didnt work for three languages. The over your support, the told me I have to import everything in one CSV File.
Please let me know, why there are different solutions? I did now change everything with the client so its possible to have everything in one file. I cant go now back.

I wondering why three separate imports should now working better then one, its all the same product.

Did you test it like this?

I test this again, used the plugin "WPML Export and Import", disable the plugin "WPML All Import" and see the issue. So I suggest you use the separate import files and use "WPML All Import" as a workaround. You can see it works in the screen record I shared.

Meanwhile, I'm discussing it with our 2nd tier support and update you here when I have more information.

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, when I import it like in your screenrecording it works.

PRODUCT IMPORT:
For the product import, I have to use three separate files (.CSV) for german (default), english, french.

CATEGORY IMPORT:
For the category import, I have to import all categories (german, english, french) in one file and then change the categories by hand in the backend.
Meaning for importing over WP All Import and then using WPML Export and Import all categories which called the same like "Blackline", I first needed to import them with the prefix -en or -fr coz otherwise they couldn't be imported.
After this I needed to change the name of the category again for english and french.
So the category is called like this:

GERMAN: "Blackline" and term: "blackline"
ENGLISH: "Blackline" and term: "blackline-en"
FRENCH: "Blackline" and term: "blackline-fr"

Is this right, on one occasion I need to have all the products in three different CSV-Files.
In the other occasion, I need to have all categories in one CSV-file and after change by hand.
Where is the logic here? On WPML Page its written that with WPML Export and Import u can easily import Multilingual Products and Categories for WooCommerce shop.

Hi,

For the Category import:
You can import the category and translation as you do with product import. Separate the import files and import them. Please follow the steps in the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/legacy-wpml-all-import/importing-multiple-languages-with-wp-all-import-and-wpml/#option-2-import-the-multilingual-terms-using-wp-all-import

For the Product import with WPML Export and Import:
I'm discussing it with our 2nd tier support and update you here when I have more information.

Thanks.

Hi,

When I import the products on my WooCommerce Shop with three different CSV files for german, english and french.

I need to use again WPML Export and Import, otherwise the translated products doesn't sync together. Why is this? On your sandbox, we didnt need to match them again. They were already synced. Can you please check, and get back to me.

Also were u able to check with your second tier support about the import files?

Hi,

Do you follow the documentation step-by-step to use WP All Import, WPML All Import to import content in multiple languages
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/legacy-wpml-all-import/importing-multiple-languages-with-wp-all-import-and-wpml/

and the screen record that I shared above?

If it still doesn't work on your site. Can you share a screen record of steps you do?

Regarding the issue with WPML Export and Import plugin, I'm checking it with our 2nd tier support and I will update you here when I have more information.

Meanwhile, please use WPML All Import to import content in multiple languages on your site as an alternative way.

Thanks.

Hi,

I did now import all the products. But the translation doesnt work for French.
Can you please check with me and tell me what I have to do to fix it?
I did everything like tested. But the third language can not be imported.
The the default language and second language English did work.
Why the third language doesnt work.
Need immediate support and help! Coz today the client will check the whole translation and we have to GO-Live!!

Hi,

Can you share a screen record of the importing process on your site so I can understand the issue? What I need is:
- screen record that shows steps you do.
- import files (it would be better with a few products so I can replicate the issue on the sandbox site).

Please ensure that:
- the Unique Identifier number is the same across languages.
- you define the parent import in the default language when importing products in French
just like you import products in English.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please deactivate the plugin WPML Export & Import, activate the plugin WPML All Import only when importing products with WP All Import and let me know how it goes.
In the screen record that I shared, the plugin WPML Export & Import is deactivated. Also, ensure the Unique Identifier number is the same in all import files.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi

Still the same the products not matching I did exactly how you described in the screenrecording. See also screenshots.

The languages get imported. But they are not matching.
I did deactivate WPML Export & Import. But still same outcome.
