Background of the issue:
I am trying to add translation to a category template. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expected to see a similar template to this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
Instead of the expected translated template, I got an untranslated template: hidden link.

Questions:
Why is the category template not translating as expected?
How can I ensure the category template is translated correctly?

Hi,

Did you create this category template using Site Editor? If so, did you try translating the template, along with all the elements used there?

Hello Bruno,

I created a category template using the Site Editor: hidden link. I’ve already tried translating the template via WPML → Translation Management: hidden link. However, the translation doesn’t work when I switch to another language.

Hello Itamar,

Unfortunately, the suggested workaround didn’t resolve the issue.

Would you be able to assist further? I’ve already created a backup of the staging site and can provide you access.
