This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to find the migration code necessary for connecting automatic translation credits between two copies of their site. Additionally, they encountered issues with outdated WPML components and needed guidance as a beginner on how to proceed with updates and configurations.
Solution:
We advised the client to follow the documentation on automatic translation subscription for multiple sites, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-subscription-for-multiple-sites/. We manually connected the two site environments for the client and updated the WPML plugin to the latest version to ensure all components were current. We also deactivated unnecessary WPML glue plugins that were not in use.

Hi there, That is the main WPML plugin and it is required in order for everything to work OK. Go to Plugins->Add new->Commercial tab->Check for updates and update to the latest versions available. Hi Bobby, I also have a different problem I am currently trying to fix (meanwhile). I can't update wordpress to 6.5.5 which I need for certain plug-ins. even some of wpml plug-ins. that is not related to the migration code problem is it? |

Hi there, It is unnder Kommersiel tab at the top 🙂 However, I noticed an issue when trying to update WPML beyond a specific version due to how behind it was. I manually updated it for you and it is in the latest version available along with the rest of the plugin. Also, you don't need all the plugins WPML comes with, review the ones i deactivated as they are simply glue plugins to those not being used on the site.(feel free to delete them) Regarding the credits, please review them now the warning should be removed as well. |

Hi Bobby, I have a problem since quite some time that when I google my services there is the swedish url coming up: patriciabohlen.se but the text is in english. It should be the metadescription in swedish not english. I do firmly believe that is the reason why my ranking is so bad suddenly once i translated with wpml. 1. could you check or let me know if there is a problem and if the translation mistake I made is the reason why in google my site comes up as in the attached picture? the second picture (i think) will show the mistake of the swedish/english translation of some pages as the media shows different original languages (flags).
