This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wanted to use WPML with MateCat as described here: https://wpml.org/translation-service/matecat/. However, MateCat does not provide an API key.
Solution:
We recommend contacting MateCat directly to request the API key, as it's necessary for integration with WPML. If this is not possible, consider exploring other translation partners that we offer, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/translation-service/.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hey there, welcome to the WPML Support.

Unfortunately, without the API key, it's not possible to connect MateCat to WPML. Since that depends on MateCat, the only thing I can recommend is to reach out to them and directly request the API Key.

We also offer other translation partners, in case you want to take a look:

Thanks for the answer. I have only seen this now as no notification came to my email until a robot one came last night. 🙂

Anyhow, they gave the API in the meantime. My next question is to work with it, do I have to check the translations manually or is there a quicker way?

Thanks!

Please check on the top bar, as well as your WPML profile, if you have the notifications enabled. Check the screenshot attached.

As for your question, if you are talking about reviewing the content, it has to be made manually, as it's intended for a human to review the content translated artificially. Please check our documentation on Reviews, to see the different options you have:
