Hello,

I was able to replicate the issue.

The Property Media and Documents are not displayed on properties that are untranslated and using the WPML fallback option.

Take note that this is unexpected behavior and only occurs on the WP Residence Options settings for this property and does not occur for the featured image of this property.

This means, the issue must be somehow related to the theme template image-gallery.php which is not finding the images, as those would usually have a different attachment ID on a second language.

Further, there also seems to be a fallback issue with the settings for "Amenities and Features" and maybe also other options of WP Residence are affected when using fallback for properties, but this would mean we would need to run an extended test for those issues.

At the moment, I would suggest we focus on this ticket only on the images and if needed we can split up into more tickets for other issues.

As you can also see in this post example, the images should be displayed as expected when using fallback:

Now, I am escalating those issues internally and I will contact you again, once I received more feedback from our team.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

I am glad to offer you the following workaround for this issue:

1) Set Media at WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation to Don't Translate.
or
2) Deactivate WPML Media
or
3) Comment this line $query->set( 'suppress_filters', false ); in wp-content/plugins/wpml-media-translation/classes/class-wpml-media-attachments-query.php

If you also replaced media files in a second language with WPML Media then the third workaround would be the ideal solution.

The issue has been escalated to our developers and should be solved in an upcoming update for WPML Media.

Best regards
Andreas
